Our employees
contribute a great deal to our company’s success. A company needs a highly motivated, dedicated and
professional team to achieve top performance in a challenging international environment.
To
this end, Celanese has developed a systematic training program for its employees, including regular
performance reviews at all levels of the company as well as what is called the talent
review process. This global cross-functional and cross-business process is employed to target
and analyze the strengths and developmental needs of company management. This analysis is used to plan training
courses and career moves. Activities to promote employees include rotation, sending employees abroad,
in-house training program series, and cooperating with a number of external providers, e.g. Ashridge,
IMD, London business School, and Management Zentrum St. Gallen.
The
Celanese Development
Cycle consists of a number of seminars, covering topics such as leadership and communication,
chemistry and business basics, and is intended to help employees reach their career goals within the
company.
The company
uses the e-learning system to meet important, current training needs as they arise. A web-based system tailored to Celanese enables us to offer our own content.
As
a company, we see ourselves as a learning organization that uses different platforms for learning. We
focus on training based on the needs of the individual.
