On April 27, 2006, Celanese broke ground for its newest polymer emulsions manufacturing facility in Nanjing.  The event was marked by a formal ground-breaking ceremony featuring speeches by the Honorable Mr. Lu Yi of the NCIP, members of his staff as well as Mr. Josh Cheng, President of Celanese China Holding Company, and many other Celanese employees from North America, Europe and China.

塞拉尼斯公司位于南京的最新聚合物乳液生产厂于2006年4月27日破土动工。南京化学工业园区（NCIP）的鲁毅先生及其管理成员，塞拉尼斯（中国）投资有限公司总裁程嘉树先生在这一具有重要意义的破土动工仪式上讲了话，以及多位来自北美、欧洲和中国的塞拉尼斯雇员等参加了这一仪式。

This plant will feature a state-of-the-art pressure emulsions facility to make vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) as well as an atmospheric reactor to make homo- and co-polymers of vinyl acetate as well as acrylic emulsions.

南京厂将拥有生产醋酸乙烯－乙烯共聚乳液（VAE）的最新高压乳液生产装置，和生产醋酸乙烯均聚物和共聚物以及丙烯酸乳液的常压反应装置。

This world-class manufacturing complex in the Nanjing Industrial Park will be totally integrated to ensure continuous supply.  The facility will include a 600,000 metric ton acetic acid plant as well as a 300,000 metric ton vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) plant. This manufacturing complex will incorporate the leading technology from our other plants that we operate around the world.

位于南京化学工业园区内世界级的联合生产装置将结成一个整体，确保连续不断地供应产品。该联合装置包括一套年产60万吨醋酸装置和一套年产30万吨醋酸乙烯单体（VAM）装置。该联合生产装置将综合采用我们分布在全球其它地方工厂的领先技术。

This new investment will make Celanese a fully integrated acetyls manufacturer in China and a trusted source of supply in the decades to come. 这个新的投资项目将使塞拉尼斯公司成为在中国的一个配套完整的醋酸及醋酸衍生物产品生产商、在未来数十年内值得信赖的醋酸及醋酸衍生物产品供应商。
